About Handspun Exotics
At Handspun Exotics, I am dedicated to preserving the art of handspinning while fostering new talent. With a strong foundation in crafting superior yarns, I invite you to explore the depths of creativity and skill that come with the art of handspinning.
I have developed my own techniques designed to give the best possible results as quickly as possible.
I started teaching in the 1980's at Berkshire College of Agriculture where I taught evening classes to beginners and then following on to more advanced techniques.
I am also an artist making my own hand painted buttons and shawl pins. These are for sale and I will be adding a shop front shortly.

Quality Materials
There is a fibre suitable for every application, what we might use for weaving might be different than what we would choose for knitting, and even from one project to another. I Utilise fine crimpy wools and hand-dyed fibres of many different breeds in workshops to create exceptional pieces that stand the test of time.
